I am not a Millennial other than I have plunked myself into the midst of them; off the grid mesa rat Millennials and small town cosmopolitan Millennials. I am a Boomer and have hated Boomers all my life unless I got along with them individually. So I copied the Millenials and didn't have the inborn smarts to get away with it. But I did manage to go back to school and get a useless degree and astronomical student loan debt. Not that I will be able to pay it off if my luck stays dire. But I was looking at making a solid effort.
Anyway, Millennials can at least see the future promised them evaporating in to the insanity of Boomer bi-polar disorder. I feel for my youngest kids who are just entering their teens and who will not be able to emotionally adjust to the economic tsunami that will devour the status quo. Somehow, though, the thought lurks they may have secret powers that I cannot perceive and where Boomers sink like a rock, they will float free knowing the ineffable. They know everything already, as I have been reminded constantly, so they must know what to do when the time comes. Time will tell, especially if serving time. DWL
